arGentis Pharmaceuticals, Tom Davis - President and Chief Executive Officer
Tom has thirty plus years of successful management experience which includes experience at the CEO, CFO, and COO levels. Prior to serving as CEO of arGentisTM Pharmaceuticals, Tom was President and CEO of BEP Services, LLC a healthcare services company. Previously he served as SVP Business Development, CFO and then COO for ServiceMaster Diversified Health Services, LLC in Memphis. Earlier he served as COO for Brian Center Corporation, a rapidly growing diversified healthcare services company with approximately 50 operating subsidiaries where Tom served as CEO. Earlier he served as CFO of Brian Center Management Corporation, ATC Petroleum, Inc., and Healthcare Services Management, Inc. He holds a CPA license in North Carolina and worked on the audit staff of international CPA firm Peat Marwick Mitchel & Co. (n/k/as KPMG).

With a proven background in providing leadership for all key managers in a complex environment (professional, technical, operations, legal, compliance, human resources, risk management, property management and clinical), he has successfully managed organizations with thousands of employees and multiple locations and lines of business.

In his various positions Tom has ensured regulatory and program compliance, managed regulatory relations, marketing, development, finance & accounting, and information systems.

While CEO of arGentisTM Pharmaceuticals, Tom has completed a Series A financing as well as prepared arGentisTM to complete clinical studies on its flagship orphan drug (ARG201) for the treatment of Systemic Sclerosis. arGentisTM is currently pursuing Series B financing to continue commercialization of this product.

Astec Industries, Inc., Rick Dorris - Chief Operating Officer
Richard J. Dorris has served as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President since January 2014. He previously served as the Group Vice President and President of the Company’s Energy Group from August 2012 to December 2013 and as President of Heatec, Inc. from 2004 to January 2014. From 1999 to 2004 he held the positions of National Accounts Manager, Project Manager and Director of Projects from Astec, Inc. Prior to joining Astec, Inc. he was President of Esstee Manufacturing Company from 1990 to 1999 and was Sales Engineer from 1984 to 1990. He is 54.

Cornerstone Bancshares, Inc., Frank Hughes - President and Chief Executive Officer
Frank Hughes is the president and chief executive officer of Cornerstone Community Bank in Chattanooga, TN, where he oversees all operations and serves as a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors and various committees. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Hughes was employed at Pioneer Bancshares as the vice president and investment officer from 1994 to 1998. In this position, he managed the Bank’s investment portfolio and ALCO activities. From 1983 to 1991, Hughes worked for American National Bank & Trust (now known as SunTrust) as a senior investment officer. In this position, he provided investment advice to its banking clients.

Hughes is a graduate of Baylor High School in Chattanooga and received his bachelor’s of business administration from the University of Kentucky. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and graduated from the ABA’s Stonier’s Graduate School of Banking. Mr. Hughes also retains a CFA certification.

Hughes is a retired Colonel from the United States Marine Corps, where he served as Battalion Commander of 4th Battalion, 14th Marines and earlier commanded the M Battery, Chattanooga’s local Marine artillery battery.

Mr. Hughes is Past President of the Chattanooga Rotary Club, a Director of the Boy Scouts of America Cherokee Council, and former Director of Arts Build (formerly Allied Arts). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Way and the Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise. In addition, Mr. Hughes actively sponsors exchange students with other Rotary Clubs around the world. He and his wife have three children and reside in Lookout Mountain, TN. His interests include competitive bridge, sailing, hiking and watching Kentucky basketball games.

Corrections Corporation of America, David Garfinkle - EVP and CFO
David Garfinkle became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in May 2014. Garfinkle joined CCA in 2001 as vice president, Finance. Prior to joining CCA, he was vice president and controller for Bradley Real Estate, Inc., a publicly-traded, $1 billion real estate investment trust in Chicago. He also worked as a senior manager in the Audit practice at KPMG Peat Marwick.

Garfinkle is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and he holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from St. Bonaventure University. He has served on the board of the Nashville Sports Council since 2006.

Delek US Holdings, Fred Green - Executive Vice President Delek US
Fred Green is the primary operational officer for our refining and wholesale marketing operations. He has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Delek Refining since 2006 and Executive Vice President of Delek US Holdings since May 2009. Prior to joining us, from January 2004 to January 2005, Mr. Green operated Green Energy Advisors LLC, an independent consulting practice servicing commercial insurance carriers on petroleum refining and electrical matters. Mr. Green has 18 years experience in the refining industry working for UOP LLC, a refinery technology licensing firm, from 1987 to 1990 and Murphy Oil USA, Inc., from 1990 to 2004, where he served as a senior vice president during his last six years. Mr. Green has experience ranging from crude oil and feedstock supply, through all aspects of managing a refining business to product trading, transportation and sales.

FedEx Corporation, Jeffrey K. Smith - CFA, Staff Director, Investor Relations
Jeffrey K. Smith, CFA is staff director, Investor Relations for FedEx Corp. He has primary responsibility for institutional investors in the eastern United States, Europe and the Middle East. In addition, he also oversees financial media outreach, the production of the FedEx Annual Report and the corporation’s individual investor programs. He joined the FedEx investor relations team in July 1998.

Prior to joining FedEx, Smith administered First Tennessee Bank's mutual fund family. He has more than 20 years of experience working with the financial community.

A native of Memphis, he earned a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration from the University of Memphis and has been a CFA charterholder since 2001.

Smith is a past president of the CFA Society of Memphis and a past member of Editorial Advisory Board, the Subject Matter Expert Committee and the Annual Conference Committee of the National Investor Relations Institute.

Healthcare Realty Trust Incorporated, Doug Whitman - Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance
Mr. Whitman joined Healthcare Realty in 1998 and became the Executive Vice President – Corporate Finance in February 2011 and is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s financing activities, including capital raises, debt compliance, banking relationships and investor relations. Previously, Mr. Whitman led the Company’s investments group and later served as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer from March 2007 until February 2011. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Whitman worked for the University of Michigan Health System and HCA Inc.

National Health Investors, Inc., J. Justin Hutchens - President and CEO
J. Justin Hutchens joined National Health Investors (NYSE: NHI) in February 2009 as President and COO. Pursuant to a succession plan, in March 2011 he was appointed CEO. Prior to joining NHI, Mr. Hutchens acquired 15 years of senior care operations experience. His background includes multi-site management with assisted living and skilled nursing facilities (1997 – 2003). He has national operating experience (2003 –2009) as the Senior Vice-President and COO of Summerville Senior Living and Executive Vice-President and COO of Emeritus Senior Living (NYSE: ESC). Mr. Hutchens holds a Master of Science in Management from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the University of Northern Colorado. He was awarded Executive Certificates in Measurement and Control of Organizational Performance from the University of Michigan, and Strategy and Innovation from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Pinnacle Financial Partners, J. Harvey White, Chief Credit Officer and Knoxville Regional Executive
Harvey White is firm-wide chief credit officer and Knoxville regional executive. Before joining Pinnacle in 2009, White worked as a commercial banker for Regions Bank and its predecessor companies for 28 years, in both line and credit roles . He began his career at United Virginia Bank as a relationship manager. White received a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Tennessee and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School. Active in a number of Knoxville community endeavors, White has served as a board member for the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Baptist Hospital and board chairman for Webb School of Knoxville. He is currently on the Board of Visitors at Elon University.

Tennessee Valley Authority, William (Bill) D. Johnson - President and CEO
Bill Johnson is president and chief executive officer of the Tennessee Valley Authority. Appointed by the board of directors in November 2012, Johnson is responsible for leading the nation’s largest public utility in its mission of providing energy, environmental stewardship and economic development for the Tennessee Valley region.

Before joining TVA, Johnson was chairman, president and CEO of Raleigh, N.C.-based Progress Energy Inc. from 2007 to 2012, and served as the company’s chief operating officer from 2005 to 2007. His career at Progress began in 1992 and included leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including group president for Energy Delivery, president and chief executive officer for Progress subsidiary Progress Energy Service Company, and general counsel and secretary for Progress Energy Inc.

Before joining Progress, Johnson was a partner with the Raleigh office of Hunton & Williams, where he specialized in representing utilities. He previously served as a law clerk to Judge J. Dickson Phillips Jr. of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Johnson served as vice chairman and on the executive committee of the Edison Electric Institute and was chairman of the board of directors of the Nuclear Energy Institute. He was also a member of the boards of directors of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited, and other community and charitable organizations. Johnson held many leadership positions at the state and local level, including serving as chairman of the North Carolina Chamber.

He graduated from Duke University summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history, and received a law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The UNC School of Law honored him with its Distinguished Alumni Award in 2011.

Tractor Supply Company, Christine Skold - Vice President – Investor Relations, Strategy and Continuous Improvement
Christine Skold has served as Vice President – Investor Relations, Strategy and Continuous Improvement (“TVS”) of Tractor Supply Company since November, 2011, having previously served as Vice President of Internal Audit and TVS since January, 2009. TVS (Tractor Value System) is the Company’s continuous improvement program based on LEAN principles. Mrs. Skold joined Tractor Supply Company in 2002 and held various leadership roles in accounting. Prior to joining Tractor Supply Company, Mrs. Skold, a Certified Public Accountant, served in accounting leadership at Moll Industries, Inc. and began her career in public accounting, spending eight years at Arthur Andersen, LLP.
