Franck Riboud, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Franck Riboud, (1955), has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officersince 1996. Mr. Riboud joined the Company in 1981 and has held several positions, including General Manager of Evian in 1990 and General Manager of Corporate Business Development in 1994 when he was responsible for the internationalization of the Company. Prior to being appointed to his current position, he was Vice-President and General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors from 1994. Mr. Riboud holds a degree in engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique in Lausanne.
Emmanuel Faber, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Co-Chief Operating O
Emmanuel Faber, (1964), is Co-Chief Operating Officer, Human Resources, Social Responsibility and Innovation, the General Secretary and Finance. In 1997, he joined Danone to head the M & A and Corporate Strategy department. He was appointed Executive Vice President and CFO in 1999 ; he was successively appointed member of the Executive Committee of Danone in 2000 and then, Director of the Board of Danone in 2002. In July 2002, Emmanuel Faber was appointed Executive Vice President Finance, Strategy and Information Systems. In July 2005, Emmanuel Faber was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of the Asia Pacific. He holds seats on the board of various French and foreign companies.

Bernard Hours, (1956), graduated from HEC. Prior to joining Danone, he began his career at Unilever in 1979 as a Brand Manager. He joined Danone in 1985, firstly at Kronenbourg as Marketing Manager. Then in 1990 he became the Marketing Director of Danone France. Following this he became successively President of Danone Hungary, Danone Germany and LU. In November 2001, he was appointed Vice President of the Dairy Division, then President of the Dairy Division worldwide in March 2002. In January 2008, he was appointed Co-Chief Operating Officer of Danone, responsible for the Company’s four operational business lines : Fresh Dairy Products, Waters, Baby Nutrition and Medical Nutrition. He is member of the Executive Committee of Danone.
