Richard Goyder, CEO Wesfarmers

Richard Goyder, Managing Director
Richard Goyder holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
He held a number of positions with Tubemakers of Australia, particularly business development roles, before joining Wesfarmers in 1993. Richard was appointed General Manager, Business Development for the group in 1994, Finance Director of Wesfarmers Landmark in 1996, Managing Director of Wesfarmers Landmark in 1999 and Finance Director, Wesfarmers in July 2002.
Richard was appointed Deputy Managing Director, Wesfarmers in May 2004. Richard was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Wesfarmers in July 2005.
He is a director of Gresham Partners Holdings and a number of Wesfarmers group subsidiaries and related companies.
Terry Bowen, Finance Director
Terry holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.
Terry has held a number of finance positions with Tubemakers of Australia Ltd, culminating in his appointment as General Manager Finance.
Terry joined Wesfarmers in 1996 and undertook various roles with Wesfarmers Landmark, where he was appointed Chief Financial Officer, until its acquisition by AWB Limited in 2003. He was then appointed the inaugural Chief Financial Officer for Jetstar Airways, prior to rejoining Wesfarmers as Managing Director, Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety in November 2005. Terry became Finance Director, Coles in 2007, and wasappointed Finance Director, Wesfarmers in May 2009.
Terry is also a director of Gresham Partners Holdings Ltd, the Western Australian Opera Company Incorporated, the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research Incorporatedand a number of Wesfarmers Group subsidiaries. He is a member of both the National Executive of the Group of 100 Inc and Curtin University School of Accountancy Advisory Board.
Paul Meadows, Group General Counsel
Paul Meadows holds Bachelor of Laws and Arts degrees from the University of Melbourne.
He was appointed Group General Counsel of Wesfarmers Limited in March 2010.
Paul was admitted to practise as a barrister and solicitor in 1981 and was a partner of Allens Arthur Robinson in Melbourne from 1989 until February 2010. He worked at Linklaters in London in 1986 and 1987. He practised as a commercial litigator, principally in the areas of companies and securities, takeovers, banking, mining and resources, corporate governance, trade practices, contract and corporate insolvency laws. Between 2006 and February 2010, Paul was also a senior adviser to USB Australia.
Paul is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the International Bar Association, Australian Corporate Lawyers Association, Australian Institute of Judicial Administration and Victorian Law Institute. He is also Vice-President of the Scotch College Foundation Board of Directors. Between 2006 and 2010 he was a senior adviser to UBS Australia.
