Amla is a hamlet in Mokhada, Thane having a population of over 380 tribals. It is plagued with problems such as as illiteracy, school dropout, inadequate diet, etc. This is a video about how Siemens and Aroehan came into Amla and with the help of Mr.Dilip Waare, helped in bringing about a change in the village.

Armin Bruck, CEO Siemens India


Armin Bruck, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Armin Bruck arrived in India in September 2007 and took over the reins of Siemens Ltd from 1st January, 2008. Having done his PhD in Operations Research from the University of Mannheim, Dr. Bruck joined Siemens in 1987 as Account Manager, Data Systems in Germany. During his 25 years in Siemens, Dr. Bruck has handled various assignments across business groups in Germany and abroad. Prior to his assignment in India, Dr. Armin Bruck was the President of the Energy Automation Division, which was part of the Power Transmission and Distribution Group of Siemens AG
Sunil Mathur , Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer
Mr Sunil Mathur, ED & CFO, Siemens Ltd., has been in Siemens for almost 25 years. Starting his career as a young Chartered Accountant in the Internal Audit team in Delhi, he moved on to join the Business Administration Group in the Energy Sector. Mr Mathur has held various senior management positions in Germany and the UK in the Energy and Industry Sectors. He was appointed as the Cluster CFO for South Asia in July 2008 and has been the Executive Director and CFO of Siemens Ltd. since December 2008.
Bhaskar Mandal, Industry Sector Head - South Asia
After graduating in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, Bhaskar Mandal started his career with DCM Data Products in 1984. After 8 years in R&D and marketing, he joined Siemens in 1992, where he played a key role in setting up the Telecommunication Factory at Salt Lake, Calcutta. In 1996, he joined the Corporate Strategy department of Siemens AG in Munich. Mr. Mandal returned to Siemens India in 1999 to head the Corporate Planning department and manage the top+ program. In 2003, he moved to the Automation & Drives division as Vice President- Sales and subsequently in 2009 became the Division Head of Industry Automation South Asia. In January 2013, he was appointed as Sector Cluster Lead and Head of Industry Sector, South Asia. Alumni of IMD Lausanne and ISB Hyderabad, Mr. Mandal is known for his creative problem-solving and participative management style with a propensity for taking firm decisions on critical business issues. A proud father of two sons, Bhaskar loves to cook and is passionate about music and travelling. Apart from his mother tongue Bengali, he speaks English, German and Hindi fluently.
Tilak Raj Seth , Infrastructure & Cities Sector Head - South ASia
Tilakraj Seth is an electrical engineer and law graduate from the prestigious Delhi University. He began his career with Siemens in 1984, as a trainee engineer, fresh out of college. He started his career in the Projects Division of Siemens and has since worked in many core technology areas of Industry and Automation. He has been associated with Transportation business since 1998. An engineer to the core, he has a rich experience in management and business processes for high-technology areas. Over a career span of 27 years within Siemens, he has handled several challenging assignments and held various key positions across the company. Tilakraj also heads the Mobility Division of Siemens Ltd.
Richard Guest, Healthcare Sector Head - South Asia
In his enriching career of over 23 years, Mr. Guest has undertaken various roles and led teams across Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain operations. He joined Siemens in December 2003 after spending 13 years with a global company, where he worked in New Zealand and Australia undertaking diverse roles like Service Management, Sales, Product Management and General Management. In his prior assignment, he spent four years working in Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong and China and two years as a Business Developer running X-ray Business in the Asia Pacific region with special focus on India, China and Japan. For over a decade he was engaged in Siemens Healthcare Australia and New Zealand and is credited with delivering profitable growth.
A K Dixit, Energy Sector Head - South Asia
Mr. A K Dixit is the Cluster CEO for the South Asia Energy Sector. He started his career with the house of Siemens in 1980 as a Graduate Trainee Engineer with the Industry Sector. He subsequently rose to become the CEO of the Sector for South Asia. After assuming leadership of the Energy Sector in the beginning of 2007, he drove portfolio expansion and business restructuring to put the Sector on a high-growth path. The Sector grew from a single product to a multiple-product setup with a large local footprint, supported by 13 factories. He launched initiatives to acquire market share and develop employee strength with strong focus on competency improvement. The Energy Sector’s annual growth of around 35% in the last few years was steered with great determination even during the global recession. Mr. Dixit also leads the cultural initiative of Innovation at Siemens India. Under his leadership, a common open platform for innovation was launched to bring all ideas to be logged, collaborated and developed. The last three years have seen the development of a large number of innovative products from the Energy Sector.​
